About The Beverly Hills Hotel

The "Pink Palace," renovated in 1995, is the height of luxury, right down to the child-sized terry cloth robes available in the room. It's VERY expensive, but as splurging goes the Beverly Hills Hotel can't be beat. Each of the beautiful suites is individually furnished, and most come with fireplaces, private patios, and terraces. Personal butlers (!) are available upon request. Set in lush hibiscus, blooming bougainvillea, and tropical palms, the hotel's famous bungalows offer the luxury of complete privacy within easy access of every hotel service. Past services have included hiding roast beef sandwiches in the trees, at the whim of one famous guest; the hotel isn't kidding when it says it can accommodate just about any request! Each bungalow has been created as an individual residence; the Presidential Bungalow even has its own pool and Jacuzzi. Room amenities include three multi-line telephones (2 with 2-line speaker phones), voice mail, in-room fax machine (can be used as a copier or PC printer), internet connection, PC and laser printer upon request, private safe, private bar, walk-in closet, and choice of four daily newspapers. Suite amenities also include kitchens and dining rooms, wood-burning fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, and furnished private terraces and balconies. The hotel's swimming pool (into which many a guest has jumped fully clothed) is a competition-size outdoor pool with 21 private cabanas, each with television, phone, and fax. Dining choices include the famous Polo Lounge, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offering inside or outside seating, the Sunset Lounge for elegant afternoon tea service, evening hors d' oeuvres, and all-day dining menus with music accompaniment, and the Fountain Coffee Shop, offering simple, hearty, home cooking from a landmark favorite. Star gazing is part of the package, but one tries not to stare. The Pool Cabana Cafe is also available for all-day dining poolside. And needless to say, there's always 24-hour Room Service. Special kids' services include children's menus, teddy bears and chocolate chip cookies at bedtime, and a personal VYV credit card for complimentary sodas in The Fountain Coffee Room and The Cabana Club Cafe. For parents, there is also a babysitting service.
