The Big Tomato has delicious deep dish pizzas with such tempting names as vivacious vegetarian, baja barbecue, tangy Thai, Hawaiian holiday, or Mediterranean magic. This crust is thick, and a bit chewy, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. Other good choices here are salads, such as chopped (these small pieces are great for little ones), szechuan chicken, lentil, or hot taco. Big Tomato wraps are also tasty - we like the veggie roller, tuna roller and philly roller. There is no eat-in option at this restaurant, only take out or delivery. Home delivery requires a $10 minimum, and costs $1 after 5pm and weekends.
getting there:
Take U.S.1 (South Dixie Highway) and watch for The Big Tomato on the east side, just south of SW 124th Street.
