The Canyons Resort is Utah's largest single ski and snowboard resort. With 3,500 skiable acres, visitors find endless terrain for every style and ability. Sixteen lifts carry skiers to terrain that is 14% beginner, 44% intermediate, and 42% expert.
The terrain parks are built by skiers and riders for skiers and riders. A wide assortment of features are laid out for all abilities, including hits, rails, and boxes.
The Ski and Snowboard School shows its students of all abilities how to take their best and make it better. Children ages two and up are welcome to take part in the ski lessons. Snowboard lessons are offered to people ages 13 and up.
A state-licensed Day Care Center in the Grand Summit Resort Hotel is full of games, toys, and activities to keep kids ages six weeks to six years old happy and entertained. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 435.615.8036.
During the summer months, several concerts take place at the Canyons Resort Village, and the Park City Farmer's Market is held in the Cabriolet parking lot. Also, the Flight of the Canyons gondola provides transportation up the mountain to mountain biking, hiking, and lunch at the Red Pine Lodge. People can also play disc golf on the mountain.
Summer camps for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old include swimming, yoga, arts and crafts, nature hikes, gondola rides, field trips, and indoor and outdoor games. Camps run Monday through Friday; daily or weekly rates are available. Check the website for pricing and dates.
