The Carousel at Golden Gate Park is located right next to the Koret Children's Quarter, formerly Children's Playground, possibly the best playground in the city. The Carousel itself is worth visiting, too, primarily to get a look at the magnificent wooden steeds, which have been beautifully restored and spin without a hitch, accompanied by familiar, loud carnival music.

getting there:
The carousel is located on the southeast end of the park, at the juncture of Kezar Road and Martin Luther King, Drive. The Carrousel is located at 320 Bowling Green Drive (East side) between JFK Drive and Martin Luther King Jr.
Drive. There is generally available parking along Kezar.
