The founders of the Children's Art Studio believe that all children are natural artists, needing only attentive teachers and a space that can nurture their creativity. The goal here is to provide that environment.

The Parent/Child Art Class offers children between two and three-and-a-half years a playful setting in which to gain confidence in their creative spirits. Having their parents present can only help children in this process. Students are encouraged to experiment with paint, clay, markers, oil pastels, and color. This class meets Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

The Mixed Media Class explores the possibilities of creating all kinds of art, with all kinds of materials. The aim is to provide students with a variety of artistic experiences. Work with clay, make puppets, try painting and drawing, or sculpture. Make prints or masks! These classes are available for children ages 4 to 5, or ages 6 to 12, and are offered in the afternoons, Monday through Wednesday, or on Saturday and Sunday.

Registration is by telephone, fax, or mail. Tuition includes all materials, a smock, and a snack. Class size is limited. Some scholarships are available.
