The Children's Hour in Salt Lake City, UT 84105

About The Children's Hour
The Children's Hour is a relief from some of the big chains; a local shop that specializes in books, toys, clothing, and gifts for infants and children of all ages. All the books are hand selected by the owner and staff. Little girls love the jewelry sold here.
Book clubs and classes are offered during the summer for children ages three to eight. Writing classes are offered to elementary school children. Don't be surprised if you see your favorite author or character when you visit; writers love this shop almost as much as readers!

[Submitted by sidni hodgson 5/18/06 - Expect less than courteous staff if dressed down. I have had two separate experiences at TCH (of the collective four times too many I have patrionized TCH) where, dressed down (but certainly not out) I have been overtly mistreated and oogled (even my two-year old was reprimanded by staff for touching a toy at his level and he was wearing primigi sandals--go figure!) Sorry TCH, I like to support the locals, but not the yokels....
