Shortly after soccer legend David Beckham arrived from the UK to play for the LA Galaxy, the The David Beckham Academy arrived on its heels, offering youth soccer camps to all the young fans who want to bend it like Beckham. The famed footballer himself is not one of the coaches; the name seems to hail from the creator of the program's curriculum, who was Beckham's own youth coach. The Academy offers programs throughout the year to kids of all skill levels; little ones four to six years old can attend special camps that introduce them to the game, while older kids can polish their competitive edge. Camps are held at the Home Depot Center (where the Galaxy play) or at the Staples Center.
