About Des Moines Playhouse
Founded in 1919, the Des Moines Playhouse - and its Kate Goldman Children's Theatre - offers a full Mainstage season of up to six musicals, dramas, and comedies based on books. Performing arts classes for kids ages four and up are also available, along with Fun Friday programs for kids ages four to six, and Second Saturday programs for teens.
