The Egyptian Theatre has been a part of the Boise entertainment scene since 1927. These days the theater house offers movies (both new releases and oldies but goodies), concerts, plays, opera performances, and speakers.
Expect assigned seating for most events/concerts. It's a good idea to call ahead for reservations.
Movie prices are only $5 for movie showings before 5pm. After 5pm, adults (16 & up) pay $8 and students pay $6.
Opera Idaho performs a couple times a year at the Egyptian Theatre.
