An academically rigorous, K-8th grade girls' school that has been part of the San Francisco scene since 1863. Situated in the posh Pacific Heights neighborhood, it holds to a fairly traditional curriculum and prides itself on a reputation for academic excellence. Incorporating both experiential and collaborative learning methods, Hamlin aims "to educate girls and young women to meet the challenges of their time." Hamlin wants to not only to teach girls how to learn, but to appreciate the value of industry, and possess a love of knowledge.
