The Kid Barn is a large indoor play space offering inflatable play structures on which kids can jump, crawl, climb, and slide. The 12000 square foot building includes a 10000 square foot area of inflatable activities and a parent's lounge. The rest of the building houses an hourly daycare where children can play while busy parents go out to take care of life's odds and ends. The Kid Barn offers walk-in bounce time and reserved birthday party fun. Memberships are available, but are not required; the cost is inexpensive, and family rates are available. Members receive discounts on merchandise and services, including drop-in daycare, birthday parties, and walk-in bounce rates. Birthday party packages are available by reservation only, and include 30 to 40 minutes in a fully decorated private party room, pizza, drinks, a tablecloth, paper plates, napkins, forks, cups, invitations, party favors, a mylar balloon centerpiece for the table, and 90 minutes of play time in the inflatable play area. No outside food and drink are permitted except for birthday cake. Walk-in play time on the inflatable structures is available during all business hours unless the building is fully booked with birthday parties; call ahead to ensure availability before heading over for play time. Parents can play along with wee ones, but remember that socks are required for everyone, and shoes are not allowed. Long-sleeved shirts are recommended. While children bounce to their heart's content, parents can relax or get a little work done in the parent's lounge. The lounge overlooks the play space, so parents can keep an eye on the kids. Internet access, TV, and magazines, soft drinks, and coffee/tea service is available in the lounge. The drop-in daycare center is licensed by the State of Utah. Children must be between the ages of three and 12, and they must be completely toilet trained. The center has computers with games and learning programs, books, toys, movies, and a bean bag chair area. Children in the daycare area can go into the bounce area if their parents sign a waiver for bouncing. Daycare fees are competitively priced; members and siblings receive a discount. Parent's Night Out is offered on select Fridays and Saturdays. Parents can drop the kids off at The Kid Barn for pizza, drinks, a movie, and a treat while mom and dad enjoy an night out on the town or a quiet evening at home.
