About The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts

The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Artsy Class for Big Kids and Teens in New Orleans, The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts provides creative arts instruction to children from infancy to 17 years of age.

The Academy is home to Kindermusik classes, instrumental training (brass, winds, composition, drums/percussion, guitar, jazz studies, piano/keyboard, and strings), music-oriented summer camps for kids ages five to 17, and voice lessons.
