The Mud Room, winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks Award for Best Art Class in Philadelphia, is a neighborhood ceramic and craft studio that stocks clay pots, mugs, plates, and figurines, along with a wide variety of glazes and brushes. There is a work area in which to create a masterpiece that the studio staff will fire and have ready for pick-up within a few days.
The staff is enthusiastic and helpful, offering guidance when necessary. The Mud Room is a great place to bring kids on a rainy day or when a child wants to create a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special.
