Located near the waterfront (and at one end of the
Waterfront Streetcar line, when it's running),
The Old Spaghetti Factory is often jam-packed with tourists, especially during the summer. The restaurant's antique collection, Victorian style decorations, and ambient lighting add up to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The draw for children is the old trolley car, positioned in the center of the restaurant, containing a few tables for lucky families. The menu choices consist of a large variety of pastas with bland, gluey sauces, including the chain's signature mizithra cheese sauce, and other Italian dishes. The children's menu includes smaller-portioned versions of pasta dishes, as well as macaroni and cheese and other kid faves. Soup (a watery minestrone) or salad is included as part of a whole meal package, along with a drink and dessert. Booster and highchairs are available.
