The
Osceola Center for the Arts's goal is to promote interest and participation in the arts by offering events and programs that are accessible for everyone in the community.
The center - winner of our
2009 Parents' Picks award for best local theater or theater group for kids - holds a theater and an art gallery, and offers educational classes for children and adults. The theater group performs a
Broadway Series and special musicals and also hosts concerts and
ballet performances.
Classes: Great classes for children ages five through 16 teach appreciation for the arts through hands-on experiences. Topics include drama, drawing, pottery, and urban dance.
Summer Camps: The center offers a two-week summer school art camp for kids ages seven to 15. Children study art, music, movement, and drama everyday. The session ends with a performance for friends and family.
