The Pier at St. Petersburg offers one-stop entertainment opportunities for all ages. A landmark in St. Petersburg since 1899, the structure contains five stories featuring an array of
specialty stores, galleries, and boutiques, the Dockside Eatery food court, and several
sit-down restaurants, including
Captain Al's Waterfront Grill & Bar, the
Columbia Restaurant,
Cha Cha Coconuts Tropical Bar and Grill, and
Fresco's Waterfront Bistro. The Pier hosts a variety of community events throughout the year.
The pier is also home to the
Pier Aquarium, a private, not-for-profit community
marine education center.
Level five houses the pier's
observation deck, which offers spectacular views of Tampa Bay. The pier is also home to a floating wedding chapel, the "Floating Chapel on the Bay," an event space that seats up to 100.
Those who want to enjoy time in the sun can
rent bicycles, motorized boats, water bikes, or kayaks, or hop on a variety of
sightseeing boats at the Pier. Visitors can also fish off the pier, and don't worry if you left your fishing rod at home, equipment can be rented at the Pier Bait House.
