    The PlayGround Theatre is a repertory company that offers creative interpretations of classic stories, original plays, and enduring theater productions. The majority of the company's shows take place at its home venue; the group also takes shows to other venues throughout South Florida.

    The PlayGround Theatre is proud to create high-quality, innovative theatre for South Florida?s children and their families.

    Founded in 2004, the company has produced nine plays that delight, provoke, and inspire audiences of all ages and abilities. Inspired by literature from around the world, our shows reflect the international flavor of our community and expose audiences to the art and culture of Italy, China, Wonderland, and beyond. Our Theatre Inclusion Program ensures that our performances are accessible to all children and adults, and our workshops, classes, and camps provide a variety of theatre education opportunities in parks, schools, and hospitals as well as at our own venue.

    Our Musical Theatre Summer Camp program is open to kids ages 6 to 12. The program is held at Miami Shores Presbyterian Church, 602 NE 96th Street.
