a neighborhood soda fountain with a large selection of ice cream (including hand-dipped Bassetts flavors and soft serve), shakes, and desserts, as well as a menu full of
classic American diner fare favorites mixed with quirky California cuisine.
The
Pop Shop's got something for everyone at (all-day) breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including
31 varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches - including one made with a Philly soft pretzel - a dozen types of pancakes, 10 topping combinations for hand-cut French fries, build-your-own-burgers, creative sandwiches and salads, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and blue plate specials. The
fountain menu offers candy-shop milkshakes, real cherry Cokes, New York egg creams, and floats. Most menu items are priced under $10, with many items under $7.
The
Pop Shop caters to kids and offers
special menus for older children, "Squirts" (kids under five), and babies, with entrees that are sized and priced according to age-appropriate appetites and preferences.
The restaurant also offers
After School Specials, snack-sized meals that are available between 2:30pm and 4:45pm, Monday through Friday. Kids who

The Pop Shop receive a coupon for a free ice cream cone to redeem on a future visit; collect four coupons for a free sundae of choice.
Parties: Pop Shop parties include a choice of three entrees from the "Squirt" menu, drinks with free refills, make-your-own birthday sundaes for each guest, birthday balloons and candles, and soda jerk hats each guest to personalize and take home. The birthday child receives a return meal coupon and each guest receives a return coupon for a free cone.
Karaoke Pop Parties - great for little kids, big kids, and teens - are offered on the last Wednesday of every month.
Booster seats and highchairs are available.
The Pop Shop also offers family-friendly
cooking classes for adults and kids. Children's sessions emphasize healthy, hands-on recipes that kids can make themselves.
