about Radnor Trail:

Radnor Trail is a 2.41-mile multi-purpose trail which spans along the old P & W railroad line from Radnor-Chester Road to Sugartown Road in Radnor Township.

The trail is a fairly flat, paved, stretch that offers a safe place for kids and families to stroll, bike, walk, and roller-skate/blade. (There is only a slight grade between Brookside Avenue and Radnor-Chester Road.) There are many benches along the trail, and the location is quite scenic, passing through woods, behind well-manicured properties, and Encke Park.

Dogs with owners are permitted on the trail but must be on a leash and under control at all times. Owners are required to clean up after their pets, and some trail entrances provide doggie waste bags.

Entrance ramps to the trail are located at Radnor-Chester Road, Encke Park, Brookside Avenue, Brooke Road, West Wayne Avenue, Gallagher Road, and Sugartown Road. Free parking is available at the trail parking lot on Conestoga Road and Brookside Avenue, along Gallagher Road, at Odorisio Park on West Wayne Avenue, and 301 Iven Avenue. See an online map of The Radnor Trail for details.

tips:

Flat, even surface is perfect for strollers as well as little ones on bikes or skates. There are no restrooms on or near the trail, so be sure and make a pit stop before you go!

getting there:
