Seasonally located outdoor ice skating rink on the north lawn of Campus Martius Park in the heart of downtown Detroit. Bundle up, even pack some snacks and a thermos of hot cocoa...once you get here, you won't want to leave. Skate rental is $3. If you're bringing your own skates, shoe storage space is available at $2.

getting there:
Located between Fort Street and Michigan Avenue. Parking garages are a-plenty in the area, but the best bet is the HDS Garage at the Compuware Building ($5 weekdays after 5pm and weekends).

The Campus Martius ice skating rink is so fun I went last saturday and I had the best time i have ever had in my life the staff on the ice are very nice they help you up whenever you fall it is perfect for kids any age there were kids that looked like they were only about 1 years old the people there are veary nice they do not push or shove or anything. I had a great time you should go there
