about The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch:

The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch is a 122-acre wildlife preserve boasting fishing, a wealth of bird species, the Gilbert Rotary Centennial Observatory, docent-guided tours, and interpretive walks with a park ranger each Monday at 8:30am.

Self-guided Adventure Backpack activities are offered for small groups including families, scout groups, and homeschoolers, who can explore the preserve through birding, butterfly research, fishing, archeology, and other adventures. Small rental fees apply.

Stargazing, overnight camping, Scout tours, and badge workshops are also available. Visit the website for a full list of current activities.
