The Savvy Source website sounds good. However, once I paid my $35 to get a login, I found that most of the preschools that interested me had not been reviewed by parents. I expected to see commentary, stories--no such luck. Sure, there was address information, but I could find that in a phone book. It was a waste of money. We ended up finding our preschool by word of mouth instead.

I purchased a $35 Savvy Source membership to find Los Angeles preschools. It does not provide as much information as I expected. It relies on voluntary parent reviews and school-provided information. As a result, the information is uneven, and mostly missing. At best there are 1-3 reviews for each school, and mostly no information about tuition. The only benefit of this site is that it provides a list that you can use to TELEPHONE the preschools. The State of Califiornia actually funds centers in each county to give FREE lists that I found just as comprehensive for basic information like this. Check out that service before you fall for this.

The Savvy Source has been a fantastic resource for me in finding a preschool for my daughter. There are great detailed reviews on every preschool in SF, tips on how to get in. So glad something like this exists.

There are lot of technical problems with the website and no technical support to help the clients. If you look on the website, you'll notice that there is no telephone number listed and only a P.O. Box. The program constantly kicks you out. After only 3 days of use, the program has now permanently kicked me out. I have emailed The Savvy Source and no one has bothered to respond. I want a refund. If I don't hear from them soon, I'm thinking of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This site has really helped me to find best pre school for my kid. I am really excited to see the way these people have gathered information, ratings etc.
