The School for Strings is a Suzuki-based music school. The Early Childhood Program, open to children ages 16 months to four years, is designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of classical music, including rhythm, melody, harmony, tempo, dynamics and articulation. In class, children explore instruments, sing, play rhythmic games, and learn to move to music. Each EC class is composed of five to ten children with a professionally-trained musician faculty member and live piano accompaniment. Parents and caregivers are strongly encouraged to attend and participate.
