I am sharply upset at this place. I had purchased a pair of sandals for my daughter. The next day, she saw one at another store that she liked more. On their website, it clearly stated that they "will happily REFUND" any purchase up to 14 days. When I called the store up, they informed me that refunds were only for online purchase. That is absolutely ludicrous. If you purchase online where they have to do the shipping and handling, they will refund you. However, if you walk in their store and save them the trouble, they will not extend to you the same courtesy. This place is overpriced, unorganized, and compeltely oblivous as how to treat their customer. Either they are stupid and do not know that their website states a different policy than their store. Or they are deliberately misleading their customers. Either way, I, nor anyone I tell this story to, will be shopping at this place for our kids' shoes anymore.

This store is extremely disappointing. It's poorly run, unpleasant to shop in, and they never have my daughter's size in stock. The last time I was in there, I was shocked at the customer service - the woman helping me could barely speak english, and was scrambling and overwhelmed as other customers asked for assistance. The store was chaos, the service was bad, and in the end (as always with the Shoe Garden) I left empty handed because they didn't any inventory left.

This place has all the brands I want, Converse, Geox and all the hard to find European brands. Glad there is place like this in the West Village. My kids are finally well shod!!Fantastic!!
