If you're looking to lace up and hit the ice, glide over to the Skating Club of Boston. Its rink is open for public skating on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Tuesdays are reserved for those ages 18 and up. Families are invited to skate on Saturdays. Lessons: The Skating Club also offers lessons for children ages four and up through the Skating School of Boston. Figure skating, ice dancing, and private lessons are also available.

Skate rentals are available for $4. The Club also has a snack bar on site.
