The Walker School is a highly regarded college preparatory school in Marietta for grades pre-K to 12. The school is housed on 30 acres of land in nine buildings - three libraries, two gymnasiums, three dining halls, a technology center, Preschool, Lower School, and Middle/Upper School. Community service, character building, independent thinking and study, the arts, and sports (87% of Walker students participate in one!) are hallmarks of the curriculum, which, according to most recent information, resulted in 100% of the previous year's graduating class attending a four-year college. Foreign language is offered beginning in Pre-K and continues through Grade 12, and the teacher-student ratio is 1:10.
