The Walt Disney Family Museum tells the story of the man behind the myth in Walt Disney's own voice and in exhibits that reveal his expansive vision - from early drawings of some of his most popular characters to plans for Disneyland and EPCOT.
Museum highlights include the earliest known drawings of Mickey Mouse, The 1/8th scale train Disney built that inspired him to create Disneyland, an intricate model of the Disneyland of Walt's imagination, and original concept art and animation cels from Bambi, Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Steamboat Willie.
As well, the place is chock-full of listening stations, interactive exhibits, and more than 200 video monitors.
Note: Admission is by timed-entry tickets only. Timed-entry tickets are available online up to 60 days in advance and possibly at the door.
