about The Wildlife Experience Museum:

The Wildlife Experience Museum features an extensive collection of taxidermy and wildlife art encouraging visitors to recognize the immediacy and importance of conservation and preservation of the natural world.

Kids between six and 12 will gravitate toward Discovery Den, a permanent exhibit with all kinds of nifty features, including Marble Mountain, H2Ohhhh, and Max Brown's Theater. For little ones under age six, head to Cubs Corner, where basic concepts and ideas about the natural world are taught via books, arts and crafts, dress-up, and other hands-on activities.

After strolling through the beautiful galleries, visitors can watch the latest wildlife film showing at the Extreme Screen Theater (additional fees), shown daily on the hour beginning at 10am. A restaurant, gift shop, and banquet area for special events are also available. They'll even host your birthday party.

The Wildlife Experience hosts camps during school breaks, including Spring Break and summer day camps, designed for kids ages four through 10 who love nature. In 2011, the camps run between May 30-July 29. Visit the website for specific schedules.

Be sure to check our Denver/Boulder Camp Listings for more camp ideas, too!
