    about The Winner School:

We can't say enough about The Winner School. The programs, the teachers, the owner, the people who work the front desk, the people who drive the buses, the people who sweep the floors...it's all good. As a parent who has visited a multitude of preschools and has personally had her children enrolled in five different preschools, The Winner School is hands down my favorite. Not only are the kids loved, entertained, engaged, and cared for, but this school caters to busy parents, too, by offering late hours, school vacation day care, breakfast and dinner options for kids who come early or stay late, busing to and from local elementary schools, and an awesome summer camp program.

The curriculum varies throughout the year. My child has really enjoyed the science activities and Kids in the Kitchen, a cooking activity. The children are also exposed to geography, math, letters, numbers, and colors through a variety of fun activities and games.

Weather permitting, the kids go outside to play every day. They also go on nature walks around the neighborhood, and head out to parks and other fun places on field trip days.

Lunch and snacks are included in the price of tuition. Breakfast, dinner, and additional snacks can be purchased at the school's snack bar. Most meals are prepared on-site, and we love that The Winner School doesn't rely heavily on pre-packaged, heavily processed foods. We also love that the milk comes from a local dairy.

School-aged children are bused to and from school for The Winner School's afterschool program. Since the children were in school all day, the afterschool program is less about academics and more about fun. Homework help is always available to the children who need it.

The summer camp program offers all sorts of fun learning experiences and lots of field trips. It is open to children through age 15 (9th grade). Teens enrolled in the summer program go on adventurous field trips, and can take part in a youth leadership program.

The school is known for its dance and karate programs, both of which are available at an extra cost. These classes are open to everyone - kids need not be enrolled in The Winner School to participate.

Other programs offered at the school include The Reading Program (helps students excel in reading and comprehension) and Computer Kids (for ages 3 through 12).
