Just based on the looks of the store from the outside, kids clamor to get in! The Wizard's Chest looks like a magical storybook castle, and you may, indeed, find some treasures within.
On the main floor, an eight-foot tall dragon looks down on the extensive game department; you'll also find a magic counter, where professional magicians demonstrate sleight-of-hand and illusions, and any kid, even the rankest beginner, can find some tricks to start the trade.
The second floor is filled with costumes and accessories for every occasion, and you can buy full-blown character costumes or parts and pieces to create your own special effects. Theatrical makeup, professional prosthetics, wigs, masks, props, hats, and more add up to Denver's most extensive costume gallery.
The store also hosts Yo-Yo contests, juggling contests, and special workshops on magic, makeup, skill toys, and more.

getting there:
In the heart of Cherry Creek North, halfway between Second and Third Avenues. Free parking can be accessed from an alley that runs from 2nd to 3rd, with our lot directly behind the store.
