My daughter saw her first Theatre Arlington show three years ago and so enjoyed it that she auditioned for the very next youth show. She's been doing shows and taking classes there ever since. I am continually amazed at the quality of all of the shows, especially the youth shows, at this theater. The staff is so welcoming as well, and you can tell that they truly want to give performing arts opportunities to children. We love T.A.!
My son has been taking classes for the past two years and has loved it. He has made new friends and has learned so much about the art of acting. Recently he has been cast in two of their shows. Both events were good experiences for him and for us. I recommend Theatre Arlington to parents looking for a good, positive, experience for their children.
I took my daughter to her first live show here. She sat very still and watched with wonder at these extremely talented kids on stage. After the show the young actors were out in the lobby taking pictures and signing autographs. My daughter shyly asked for an autograph, the young girl couldn't have been more gracious or kind to my daughter. We left the theatre that night and my little girl knew what she wanted to do....be like those kids on stage. â??Thank you â??Theatre Arlington for inspiring young children to live out their dreams.
Theatre Arlington consistently presents shows that are as entertaining for parents as they are for children. The level of skill and talent in their shows is outstanding, and when you consider that all their talent for their youth shows comes from actors under the age of 18, what they produce far outstrips other productions that I have seen. No ringers, no adults to help carry the load -- these kids are great on their own. Definitely check them out. Your kids will be glad for it. If you have a budding actor in the family, look into their classes and camps. I have seen great results in kids that attend, especially compared to some other theater groups. The kids in these classes learn to be better human beings as well as being better actors. That's quite an accomplishment.
