    about The Theatre in the Park:

    The Theatre in the Park presents Broadway musicals, concerts, and special events in its outdoor amphitheater located in Shawnee Mission Park. Theater-goers come armed with blankets and lawn chairs for performances, but the amphitheater is handicapped accessible with reserved parking, ramps, and wheelchair seating areas.

    The ticket box office opens at 7pm on show night, and advance tickets are available for a $5 processing fee by phone.

    tips:

    Bring a picnic supper and a ball or Frisbee to enjoy the park setting before the show begins. Gates open at 7:30pm for 8:30pm shows.
