About Theatricum Summer Youth Drama Camp
For five weeks, kids participate in theatre technique workshops which emphasize the building of a closely-knit ensemble, and each group session ends with a performance of Shakespeare! Techniques include theatre games and improvisation, music, voice and speech, stage illusion,
costumes and props, and much more. Camp is held in the Theatricum Botanicum's beautiful outdoor amphitheater and surrounding grounds.
*Camp culminates with a performance of your child's group.
Tips
Register early. Camp fills up quickly.
Getting There
Theatricum is located in Topanga Canyon between the 101 Freeway and Pacific Coast Highway. From the Ventura (101) Freeway, exit Topanga Canyon South. Head west, toward the ocean. Theatricum is approximately 5 1/2 miles south on the right. From Pacific Coast Hwy, follow Topanga Canyon Blvd approximately 6 miles. Theatricum is on your left.

- Amazing, over qualified, instructors teach an exciting array of classes (acting and voice, stage combat, fencing, Elizabethan dance, props and make-up to name a few) culminating in a terrific Shakesperean performance. Classes are held on the beautiful grounds of the Theatricum Botanicum.
