The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site offers many special events throughout the year, including walking tours, holiday events, lectures, and family and children's events. The annual Teddy Bear Picnic is a favorite for families. Guided tours of the Ansley Wilcox home, the historic Buffalo, NY house in which Roosevelt was inaugurated as the 26th president in 1901, are offered. The tour includes four restored areas and a permanent exhibit. Herb and flower gardens are maintained on the grounds in season.
