Thistle Theatre is a Seattle-based theatre group that presents puppet shows at three locations around town. Performances are generally suitable for kids ages three and up.
Thistle Theatre is the only performing arts organization in the Pacific Northwest that specializes in Bunraku, an ancient Japanese style of puppetry. The puppeteers, dressed in black to suggest invisibility, operate all of the character's limbs with rods from behind.
The group also offers birthday entertainment at your home or party location - call for information.
Performances are held at Magnuson Park Theatre, Building 47.
