Three Bears Park in Philadelphia, PA 19107

About Three Bears Park
This tiny playground (also known as Delancey Park) is geared to the younger set of infants to toddlers. Baby Bear would be ecstatic to play on the pint-sized swings, slides, and climbing equipment.
Bits of grass and concrete provide varying running surfaces for toddlers who need to go! A couple of benches line the perimeter, but these are a hot commodity, so claim one quickly or bring a blanket.

- Though small, this park is like a little jewel. Recently and lovingly renovated with new equipment, more benches, and tables for snack time. When not swinging or sliding, city kids can chalk, kick balls, or explore the little mud patches.

[Submitted by City Mom of 311/29/07 - I recently conducted a site analysis of this playground, and I found to be good for children of that age to run around, but the patio area is not safe due to the uneven cracks inbetween the slate. Other than that, I found that the seating placed on the West side of the park was excellent because it offers views of the entire playground space and parents can watch their children at all times. The rubber surface is nice and because it is a softer material the children will not get injured as easily.
