On the Southwest side of Columbus, active families roll through Three Creeks Metro Park year 'round. The park is a major hub in the Franklin County Greenways program, an interconnected system of trails in Central Ohio. Hikers, bicyclists, and joggers can enjoy 13 miles of trails that parallel the stream corridors as they wind through forests, fields, prairies and wetlands.

Featuring more than a thousand acres of recreational land, Three Creeks is named for the confluence where Alum, Big Walnut, and Blacklick creeks join.

The park also has several reservable picnic areas and shelters (call the office at 614.508.8111 for reservations), and several soccer, baseball, and field hockey playing fields.
