Tin Fish, a recent and welcome addition at the pavilion on the northeast corner of
Lake Calhoun, covers all the bases.
It serves seafood and burgers,
cafe and kid's fare, and ice cream and treats. There are appetizers for light meals, and baskets of fried fish for heavy ones. Rare is the place where parents can dine on Mahi Mahi and oysters while children snarf PB&J, and all get to enjoy fabulous views and people-watching from
lakeside tables. And if the kids aren't impressed by the sights, they can borrow one of the games stashed on the bottom shelf of the condiment cart!
The prices are
less than you'd expect at such a prime location, and half-orders of entrees are available, as well as a kid's menu, making dining here a great value for parents. The only drawback is that
everyone else likes the location, too, so be prepared for brutal lines during peak season.
