about Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course:

The site of some of golf's more important tournaments, including the Junior World Championships and the Buick Invitational, Torrey Pines is a challenging course with some of the most stunning views in the world. Even so, it offers reasonable Greens Fees for city residents, but getting a reservation can really be tough. Reservation phone lines open at 5am and tee times fill quickly. Reservations can be made one week in advance only; if you'd like to get some instruction, you can get course time with a pro through the pro shop. tips:

Purchase a $12 Annual Resident Card at the Starter's window at either Torrey Pines or Balboa Park golf courses to get resident Greens Fees.

getting there:

From I-5 north exit at Genesse Avenue. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn left onto Genesse. Go about one half mile, Genesse becomes North Torrey Pines Road. Travel one more mile, turn left into golf course entrance.
