Shopping is more fun than chore at
Tower City Center.
Located in the heart of the city (primarily on the first two floors of Terminal Tower) visitors can take
RTA's Rapid Transit trains directly into the lower level of
Tower City, and get acquainted with the history behind this upscale shopping center.
In addition to more than 100 specialty shops,
Tower City boasts an 11-screen cinema, a food court, and a variety of restaurants, including the only
Hard Rock Cafe in Ohio. And, while food selections there can be satisfying, we recommend grabbing a bite to eat at the food court and noshing within splash-distance of the
cool leapfrog fountains in the Skylight Concourse.
Shoppers who drive in should note that when they spend $25 or more and have their tickets validated at Guest Services, they receive a
parking discount, and visitors can park free for four hours when they present a same-day movie ticket stub to Guest Services.
Complimentary
stroller rental is available at Guest Services; double strollers are also available. (A photo ID is required for stroller rental.)
During the holidays (and some other special promotions) Tower City Center offers
free gift wrapping.
Shops with kid-appeal include - Gourmet Popper (popcorn and Icees - first floor); Game Stop and FYE (first floor; buy/sell used and new games). Also of note:
Go! The Game Store and
Go! The Toy Store (second floor) have an excellent assortment of games and toys - from Parcheesi to electronic games (including LeapPad interactive books) to collector toys, and an especially good selection of puzzles for all ages.
Teens will want to shop at - Charlotte Russe, LVL X, and maybe scout the exclusive designs and logo merchandise at
Hard Rock Cafe.
Working parents can cross a few things off their to-do lists at the
Tower City Center US Post Office location, Fed Ex drop box, and UPS Service Station, and take advantage of
free WiFi Internet access throughout the Center.
All parents should note that
Tower City has a
Youth Escort Policy in effect from 2:30pm until closing seven days a week. The Youth Escort Policy requires that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when visiting the center; one parent or legal guardian is permitted to supervise up to four youths, and youths must remain within the company of that parent or legal guardian. Acceptable proof of age is a valid driver's license, state/provincial non-driver ID, military or college ID, passport, or visa.
Got out of town guests? The
Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland is located nearby, on
Public Square.
If you're planning a
party, it's hard to beat the panoramic view from the observation deck at
Tower City Center. (
The Observation Deck can be rented for parties of 40-70 guests. Call 216.416.3913 for details.)
