It's hard not to love Toy Boat. It's colorful, offbeat, and serves dessert. The walls are lined with little plastic cartoon figurines and other toys; a coin-operated horsie ride (named Butterscotch, by the way) takes center stage in front of the ice cream case; and it smells like waffle cones and hot fudge. The place is kid heaven and the ice cream's not bad, either.
In addition to a wide roster of desserts, families can stop by for breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups. Seating for about 35 is available.
Toys, including vintage items, pez dispensers, wind-ups, action figures, and more, are for sale. If you come here once, you'll probably return. It's that appealing.
