Tree Frog Treks makes science fun for children by connecting them with nature. It is about holding live rescued reptiles and amphibians like Buddy the Iguana, Ivana the Tortoise, and Stickum the White's Tree Frog; examining amazing specimens like a musk ox head, beaver pelt, and giant emu legs; doing hands-on science and art projects; and exploring nature. Tree Frog Treks takes students out of the conventional classroom to offer outdoor, hands-on learning experiences.
Programs include special treks, animal care internships, and birthday parties.
The group also offers summer day camps: Tree Frog Treks Wild Science (ages 7-12) and Junior Explorer (ages 4-6) Camps. Check the website for more details.
