As part of the South Florida Regional Transportation, Tri-Rail is the convenient, comfortable and affordable way to travel throughout South Florida. Tri-Rail can get you to your favorite places from Miami to West Palm Beach in air-conditioned comfort - seven days a week.

Tri-Rail also provides service to the area's three international airports: Miami International Airport, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport. The connecting shuttle/county bus is free. The line also connects with Miami-Dade Transit's Metrorail at the Tri-Rail Metrorail Transfer Station in Hialeah.

Fares are calculated based on distance traveled through "zones" defined by Tri-Rail. Travel on this system is affordable with travel in one zone, one way for $2 (or $1 with discount) and 6 zones, one way for $5.50 (or $2.75 with discount). Tri-Rail's 12-trip ticket is $17 for travel in one zone, or up to $46 for travel in six zones. Tri-Rail's Monthly Ticket is $80 (or $40 with discount) regardless of the amount or distance of traveled.

Discounted fares are offered for children five to 12 years of age (children under the age of five ride free), Senior Citizens 65 years or older, persons with disabilities, Medicare Card holders and students (under 18, with valid student identification). Discounted fares are also offered for weekend/holiday travel. An all-day adult pass is $4 (or $2 with discount).

Northbound trains leave the Miami Airport Station on weekdays as early as 4:28am, with the last northbound train leaving at 8:28pm. Southbound trains leave the Mangonia Park Station on weekdays, as early as 4:32am, with the last southbound train leaving at 8:47pm.
