about Trinity Park:

The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the best playground/park in Dallas-Fort Worth, Trinity Park winds along the river of the same name, skirting next to downtown and meandering throughout the cultural district. Multi-use paved paths serve joggers, walkers, strollers, skaters, and cyclists. Multiple picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms, and shelters can be found scattered throughout the shady trails.

During the summer months, Shakespeare in the Park productions are performed in the amphitheater next to West Seventh Street. And Mayfest is the big attraction to the park grounds every spring.

tips:

No admission fee for entrance to the park, but admission to the festivals and performances vary. See website for additional information.
