Recently named one of the top five cooking schools in the country by the Food Network, Truffles and Trifles offers cooking classes and parties with classically trained chefs. Classes: Classes vary every month, so be sure to check the website or call for the latest schedule. Parent and child classes in everything from cookie baking to general cooking techniques are offered. Truffles and Trifles also offers four one-week Summer Cooking Camp sessions for kids. Parties: Specially created birthday parties let kids pick out their favorite menu and make a gourmet feast with their friends. Kids cook everything from appetizers and entree to a from-scratch birthday cake. Homemade ice cream and drinks are also included. Parties are available for children ages seven and up. Costs begins at $25 per child, not including gratuity and tax.
