Trussville Park boasts three different "playground areas" inside the actual park: one area is in the shade for little ones; the second is a little bigger for toddlers; and the third one, for older kids, is downright expansive.
The ground covering is composed rubber turf, so it doesn't get too hot, and parents don't have to end the play experience by dumping rocks and sand out of little shoes.
Parents can relax and keep an eye on their children from a huge gazebo. A water fountain and bathroom access are also on site.

The park is directly behind the Trussville Public Library. There's plenty of parking right outside the gate.
