about Tutti Gelati:
This one-of-a-kind ice cream store often has lines of eager patrons waiting, but it's well worth it; the creamy gelato is made fresh daily with ingredients shipped all the way from Milan, Italy, and it all tastes great.
Flavors change periodically, but there are always fruit and nut flavors and white and dark chocolates. Children enjoy the colorful plastic shovels that come with the dishes.
Seating is at tables outdoors.
tips:
Don't miss the One Colorado courtyard outside Tutti Gelati; it has comfortable benches, quirky public art, lots of interesting people, and live music on the weekends.
getting there:
Take the Fair Oaks exit off the 210 Freeway, head south and turn right on Union Street. OR, take the Orange Grove Ave. exit off the 134 Freeway, go straight at the light onto Colorado Blvd, and turn left on Pasadena Avenue. Parking is difficult in Old Town Pasadena; look for meters, or try one of the public lots, on Union Street or Pasadena Avenue, which cost $3-$6 depending on the location and the time.
