TY Park, or Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, boasts a multitude of activities, including camping, Safety Town, swimming, water slides, boating, tennis, basketball, biking paths, fishing, picnicking, and shelters for parties.
A new floating fountain spouts water nearly 65 feet in the air from the fountain's center stream, and other streams shoot approximately 30 to 35 feet. The fountain is operated by a 50 horse-power pump.
Paddleboats and johnboats can be rented for $7 per hour or $13 for four hours for use in the freshwater lagoon.
Castaway Island is a water playground with two pools, seven slides, and a toddler splash area. Use of this area is $6 per person for a one-hour-and-fifty-minute session. Sessions start at 9:30am and end at 5:20pm. Adjacent to this area is the swimming lagoon.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm-5pm, the park hosts Atemi-Ryu Karate Classes for kids ages five and up, taught by Joseph Williams, a Hall of Fame karate grandmaster. The class is designed to teach self-defense and help build self-confidence. Pre-registration is preferred at the park office, daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm. The cost is $35 per month for each student.
