It's not aimed exclusively at college students, though: it also carries an impressive stock of school and art supplies, Husky wear for all ages, gifts, and children's books.
The U-District, Bellevue, and Mill Creek locations host weekly children's storytimes. Check the website for times.
The store does have other locations in Bothell and Tacoma, but these don't offer the school and art supplies or events that would make them appealing if you're shopping with or for kids.
Even though it's an independent bookstore, it offers a vast selection of titles in stock, free shipping in the US, and complimentary giftwrapping. Expect the kind of extra-mile customer service that makes the independents so appealing.
