Known for its collegiate sports, the University of Miami offers an exciting alternative to professional sports events and is a lot more affordable for a family to attend. Hurricanes Baseball season runs from January through May (with playoffs after, depending on season). Games take place at the Mark Light Field on the University of Miami Campus in Coral Gables. Tickets are $6.25 adults, and $4.25 for kids. Check the calendar for upcoming games. Hurricanes Men's and Women's Basketball seasons run from November through March, and games take place at the Miami Arena. Tickets start at $5 for women's basketball and $7 for men's basketball games. Hurricanes Football season commences in August and runs through early January, with games taking place at the Orange Bowl. Tickets are $15-$40.
